symmetry in type

This school project is inspired by themes of symmetry, simplicity, and the elegance of systems. Alongside letters and poems written by Rainer Maria Rilke, the zine features photographs captured during study abroad experiences in both London and Paris. The refined architecture of these cities emphasizes the importance of structure, highlighting how simplicity, symmetry, and systems can come together to form a beautiful composition when intentionally designed.

ensemble arts

This newsprint piece was developed as a school project to promote Ensemble Arts Philly's diverse lineup of events throughout the year. The masthead design symbolizes the variety of art forms hosted by the organization, and its recurring use across the layout visually reinforces the interconnectedness of all art forms.

book covers

These book covers were created as part of a school project, reimagining Zadie Smith’s novels NW, White Teeth, and Swing Time. Each design incorporates imagery that symbolizes significant elements within the respective narratives, offering readers a visual hint of the themes and stories contained within the novels.
