Maria Dierkes discovered her love for art during her middle school art classes. In her final year of high school, she realized her passion for design and chose to pursue it at Drexel University to further her creative journey. Through her studies in graphic design, Maria developed a deep appreciation for typography, which has since become a central focus in her work. She was honored with the award of Best Senior Portfolio at the end of her four years at Drexel and is recognized by GDUSA on their 2025 GDUSA Students to Watch feature.

Outside of design, she enjoys spending time in nature, listening to classical music, traveling, camping and collecting bottles. 
As a true people person, Maria values time with family and friends and never says no to a good cup of coffee. Maria is always eager to try new things and take on fresh challenges, both in her design work and everyday life.
